Mark De Lorenzo has worked in foodservice manufacturing, management, purchasing, sales, engineering and product development for the majority of his 38 years of employment.
He started with Curtis in 2007 at the Michigan Branch office as Sales Administrator.
Mark's past work includes working as a dealer salesman and restaurant designer. He then joined Randell Manufacturing and started Randell Air Systems. Later he moved to Internal Sales Manager, then Product Manager for Randell. Mark also held positions as Product Manager for Ventilation Product lines, Randell Air Systems and Avtec Director of Sales, Engineering and Product Line Manager for Avtec.
The Michigan branch office of Curtis Restaurant Equipment was originally created to support the growth of a pizza chain in the eastern part of the US. Now the focus also includes work with additional chains and occasional sales to independent restaurants, schools, casinos and health care institutions, offering full design capabilities with specifications and quotations. The major focus at this branch is on chains, drawing on Mark’s past experience working with national chain accounts during his time with Randell and Avtec.
Mark and his wife Vonda have a daughter, Brianna, and a son, Jared. Mark and Vonda are active members of the Mt. Pleasant Optimist club. Mark is currently the Vice Chairman for Isabella County Department of Public Works.
Mark enjoys motorcycle riding and site seeing with Vonda. One of his favorite pastimes is food preparation and cooking; He has prepared multi course meals for small groups, as well as full blown parties for as many as 70 people.
