Osteria Sfizio is a modern Italian restaurant located in the Oakway Center in Eugene. This ninety-five seat restaurant is a contemporary twist on an old world regional osteria (Italian for tavern).
Curtis Restaurant Equipment began by designing the layout of the restaurant. A familiar Northwest concept of reuse and restore guided the selection of furniture; converted from old dorm chairs, tables from walnut flooring, and fir paneling from stadium bleachers. Curtis then designed an island cook line with hood, incorporating new with existing equipment. The walk-in cooler was relocated, and a full bar, including beer system was designed and equipped. The project was finished by adding details such as solid wood worktables to compliment the osteria’s old world charm.
